Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is proud to support the American Diabetes Association and is committed to engaging our Sorority in learning more about diabetes while having fun to raise funds to support research, advocacy and community programming.
We have the opportunity as sisters to get involved and make a difference and improve the lives of ALL people affected by diabetes.
Participating in this event will:
- Raise awareness for diabetes and the ADA
- Fund critical research and programs that help those living with this disease
- Connect with friends, family, and colleagues through a fun, yet powerful event
Step Out Walk events are happening all across the country and we encourage your friends and family to join us as a rider or volunteer!
ALL DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO THE TEAM!
Chapter members are encouraged to join an existing team, or form a team and be a Team Captain! In addition, employee friends and family members of all ages can join an existing team and also help raise funds for ADA's many programs and benefits for diabetes patients and their families.

If you have participated in the Step Out in previous years, or one of the other American Diabetes Association signature events, login with your old username and password prior to registering. (If you do not have/remember this information, click "Forgot Your Password?" above to have the information e-mailed to you.)
- Team Captains: Click Register above. Find your State, locate the event nearest you and click FORM A TEAM. Team names should follow this naming convention Delta Sigma Theta and chapter name i.e.: Delta Sigma Theta Decatur Alumni Chapter. Be sure Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is selected in the National Team pull-down menu.
- Riders: Click JOINS AN EXISTING TEAM above. Search for the team by team name or captain's name and click JOIN TEAM.
