YOUR COMPANY CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
National Teams are Corporate/Company Teams engage employees in the Association's mission through team activation in multiple virtual Tour de Cure events across the country. This year’s Tour de Cure is virtual, which means you can engage all your employees across the country to join together for a day of healthy activity and giving.
There are many great reasons to start a National Team for the Tour de Cure. Here are some of the benefits that our National Teams receive:
"As leaders, we are constantly looking for ways to better engage our teams in the important work we do at our company. Companies spend countless hours and thousands of dollars on staff retreats and team-building activities when in fact starting a Tour de Cure® team can achieve these same results and at the same time fulfill a civic responsibility. A Tour de Cure Company Team is a simple solution to a company's need for team building, healthy living and supporting the community all in one!" Mary P. Morningstar Associate General Counsel, Lockheed Martin Corporation
BUILDING STRONG BONDS
The Tour de Cure® is a great way to promote health and wellness at your company and support all people living with diabetes.
Your Tour de Cure Company Team will be a unique way for employees, friends, and family to participate in a virtual activity that enhances employee morale and fosters better communication among coworkers, all while raising funds for a cure.
Teams come in all sizes, and members can be of all different skill levels—it only takes two people to get started, and five or more people to make a full team. You can also assign a co-team captain to help you lead your team to success.
