Tour de Cure is our premier cycling event for all ages and abilities. When you register, you can select one of four routes to ride: 10 miles, 15 miles, 30 miles, or 62 miles. You may change your choice of route on the day of the Tour if you arrive for check-in time and inform registration volunteers when you check in. In any case, choose the route distance that best suits you, your family, friends, and co-workers. You will see beach cruisers to road bikes, and all style bikes in between. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, the Tour de Cure has something for everyone.
We are THRILLED to have John Logeman of Nevro serve as Chairman of the 2023 Texas Tour de Cure. Read more about John by clicking here.

Parking volunteers will be on hand to direct you when you arrive at the Myers Park & Event Center - Back 40/Soccer Fields.
There will also be signs along the road to help direct you.
Our Tour Champions will be sent signs to place on their dashboard and will be directed to the Champion parking area closest to the Tour Festival site. See our Fundraising champions roster here.
You must raise the $250 fundraising minimum ($50 for riders under 18) to participate in Tour de Cure. Please enter your donations online or bring credit/check/cash on the day of the event. Pay attention to your arrival time for your chosen route distance. We want to ensure you have enough time before the ride to check in. When you arrive at the Tour site, head to the Check-in Tent to turn in any additional offline donations you have received. This is also where you’ll pick up your Tour de Cure t-shirt. If you do not pick up your T-shirt when you check in, they will be available after your ride in the Volunteer Tent.
No matter what route you chose when you registered, you are allowed to change your route on the morning of the Tour. Just arrive in time to check-in for the route you plan to ride and let the Check-In volunteers know if you are making a change.
There will be coffee available in the morning at our ADA Café lunch tent along with bagels and other breakfast snacks. Gluten-free snack options will be available in limited quantities. A Hydration Station for filling bottles with water or sports drink will be available near the entrance to the start line chute.
We have special plans for those Tour Champions who raise $1,000 or more. The Champions Tent will feature treats and a place to relax and meet other champions. Before they head out on their ride, Champions will get a hot breakfast served up by coming soon. There’s still time to earn your breakfast of champions!
We will provide Champion Breakfast coupons to all Champions at Check-in.
Our most honored participants are the Red Riders, those who live with diabetes. You are why we ride. Be sure to stop by our Living Red Tent that will be stocked with treats and supplies just for our Red Riders. Red Riders who raise $250 or more will be able to pick up their Red Rider cycling jersey in the Living Red Tent the morning of the Tour.
With the exception of Tour T-shirts and Red Rider jerseys, all Tour de Cure Recognition Gifts will be mailed directly to riders’ homes a few weeks after the Tour. But while the 2023 TEXAS Tour de Cure may be over after October 21, you will still have an opportunity to earn Recognition Gifts with your fundraising. Funds raised through November 21 will count toward earning Recognition Gifts, which will be mailed out at the end of that 30-day window of opportunity.
You can check out all the cool items you can earn on our Recognition Gifts Page.
Route maps, cue sheets and files are now available on RideWithGPS. You can also download the Ride with GPS app to access premium features like free voice navigation for each of the TEXAS Tour de Cure ride through our Tour account. Updated routes will be posted soon.
We strongly advise you to wait to download routes to GPS devices until after Oct. 15. Rest assured that our road markings and signage along the routes will be up to date on the day of the Tour.
When you return to the start/finish line at the field, you will enjoy a delicious post-ride meal in the ADA Café lunch tent served by Culinary Creations, music and games. New this year to quench your thirst after a long ride is our Beer Garden, sponsored and operated by our good friends COMMUNITY BEER CO.
After the routes are all on the road, our Check-In Tent area will be transformed into the Beer Garden and open just before noon. All participants, volunteers and vendors/exhibitors age 21 or older are welcome to join us in the Beer Garden with proper ID. Each adult may get 2 complimentary beverages. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the Beer Garden.
Music - What’s a party without music! We’ll have a DJ to send you off and welcome you back as well as a live band – The Lindsley Brothers -- to help celebrate later in the day. If your legs are up to it after your ride, we invite you to get up and dance!

The Wellness Expo sponsored by Coming soon will feature information from the American Diabetes Association and healthcare providers on managing diabetes, lowering type 2 diabetes risk and other overall wellness topics. Pick up some resources on making every aspect of your life healthier from other exhibitors including Medical City McKinney, About Fresh and Pulse 4 Pulse.
The Cycling Village is a new addition to the Tour Festival this year. It will feature organizations working to make cycling safer and more accessible for everyone. Exhibitors include BIKE MART who’s slogan is “Life is better on a Bike.”. Also joining us in the Cycling Village is Cadence Cyclery who along with our other partners strive to grow ridership by encouraging a variety of cycling groups to reach out to all communities. Plano Bicycle Association is another organization striving to broaden the community of cyclists in the greater Dallas Area.
Our Kids Zone will offer fun activities for the younger set including face painting. A team from Dave and Busters will also be on hand with fun games and giveaways at their tent. And for those who still feel like kids, we’ll have games such as Cornhole and Can Jam.
After you work out your muscles pedaling for miles, get them back into shape with some stretching by the Triathlon Coaches from Coming soon in Dallas. You’ll find them in what was the bike mechanics tent when you left, after we convert that spot into an area for a whole different kind of tune-up for the engine that makes your bike go.
We have volunteer roles at the Tour Festival site throughout the day and could especially use help with a strike team. The Strike team will clean up and help packing up our supplies and returning them to storage. There are also opportunities to help out on the routes from rest stops to key spots for directing and cheering on the riders.
