2023 Tour de Cure: Minnesota has its own character and style—from a unique starting point to the gorgeous local scenery and so much more! No matter which route you choose, you will enjoy a fun day at this event for such a great cause.

Tour de Cure is our premier cycling event for all ages and abilities. Choose the course that best suits you, your family, friends, and coworkers. All the routes will be fully supported with bike mechanics, volunteer route marshals, rest stops with food and water, cheering volunteers and more.

Choose your distance and know that every mile helps make a difference. Whether you choose to ride in person or virtually, all the roads we take lead to the same destination to fundraise for a cure. You can also earn fundraising recognition gifts.

2023 Tour de Cure: Minnesota is a unique cycling event encompassing all Twin Cities offers. Centered around Boom Island Park, cyclists will start and finish alongside the Mississippi River, with beautiful views of downtown Minneapolis.

Tour de Cure: Minnesota's online registration is now closed. You can still register to ride tomorrow, June 3rd, starting at 6:30 am. Online fundraising will remain open until 30 days post-event.

Routes
62 miles Ready for a challenge? Sign up for a new 62-mile metric century. All the sights and sounds of our 50 mile route, but with an added 12-mile loop. Please note: short portions of this route will be on dirt.

Important Note: The 62 mile route requires 30 riders to be able to produce the course, due to requirements of safety. Final decision to produce this route will be made based on the number of registered riders for the 62 mile on May 20, two weeks out from Tour de Cure Minnesota. If less than 30 riders are registered, those riders will be notified and moved to the 50 mile route. If you are considering riding 62 mile. Register to ride now!

50 miles Our 50-mile route makes for a great day on the bike for riders ready for 50 miles of fun! You’ll follow the Mississippi River south, passing the University of Minnesota, multiple parks, and more before crossing over Lexington Bridge and heading toward Mendota Heights. You’ll continue south to Eagan, stopping at our Walnut Hill Park rest stop to refuel! Head back north and join the Big Rivers Trail before reaching Mendota, heading across the bridge and passing by Historic Fort Snelling. From there, follow the Mississippi north, passing through Hiawatha and continuing north with beautiful, wooded views along West River Parkway. Soon you’ll find yourself back downtown and crossing Plymouth Avenue Bridge for some well-deserved celebration at Boom Island Park!

27 miles Head out for 27-miles and follow the Mississippi River south as you ride past the University of Minnesota’s campus before continuing down to Hidden Falls Regional Park! Grab some snacks to refuel at our Crosby Farm Park rest stop before crossing the I-35E bridge. You’ll head towards Mendota, crossing the bridge and passing by Historic Fort Snelling. From there, follow the Mississippi north, passing through Hiawatha and continuing north with beautiful, wooded views along West River Parkway. Soon you’ll find yourself back downtown and crossing Plymouth Avenue Bridge for some well-deserved celebration at Boom Island Park!

5 miles Grab the family and ride our fun 5-mile route that takes you all along the waterfront, over the bridge to Nicollet Island Park, over Marriam Street Bridge, and Northern Pacific Bridge Number 9! Stop at our halfway point rest stop before heading back up alongside the opposite shore through multiple parks before crossing the Plymouth Avenue Bridge and celebrating your ride back at Boom Island!

Route maps will be provided at registration and Ride with GPS route maps will be published soon for download. All three routes are fully supported with flaggers, support and gear (SAG) vehicles, route marshals, bike mechanics, designated rest stops providing nutritious snacks, hydration, restrooms, first aid, cheering friends and more! When you finish your ride back at Boom Island Park you can take a walk around the Vendor Village, pick up some literature at the Wellness Village, enjoy lunch and music in the ADA Cafe, or join us at the finish line to cheer on the others!

Not riding this year? Sign-up as a volunteer and get your steps in while giving back! Volunteers are needed to make our event a success, and roles are available, from registration and rest stops to cheering for riders at our finish line. Addition Tour de Cure Details

All routes are fully supported with bike mechanics, route marshals, rest stops with food and water, SAG vehicles, cheering volunteers and more. Routes are subject to change. Please download the Ride with GPS and ADA apps for the most recent information.

Here are some of details you’ll need to make sure things go smoothly when you arrive ready to ride!

Packet Pickup - Every participant receives a packet containing your bib number, lunch ticket, and final information. Packet Pickup will take place the morning of tour. Head to our Registration tables when you arrive, and our team will get you checked in and ready for your ride!

Parking - We will be utilizing Graco parking lots for free day-of parking across 8th Ave NE. again this year. Signage will direct you to available lots!

Before and After – When you pick up your rider number and wrist band at check-in, don’t forget breakfast snacks are available in the ADA Café before you ride. Lunch awaits when you return, along with music, fun, our Wellness Expo, and more. Site map is below!

Weather – We ride rain or shine (but we strongly prefer shine). In the event of severe weather or lightning, the event may be postponed or canceled. If so, you will be notified by email or text.

Champions – We celebrate all top fundraisers who raise $1,000+ in the Champion tent with special recognition.

Red Riders – Those who ride with diabetes get a special welcome in Red Rider tent.
