UnitedHealth Group is proud to support the American Diabetes Association as a national team of Tour de Cure.

All UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum employees, clients, friends and family members are welcome to join our Tour de Cure team and ride at a location convenient for you. UnitedHealth Group will provide one cycling jersey per year for each employee rider who registers for our team.

As a national Tour de Cure team, UnitedHealth Group is committed to raising $100,000. Every dollar raised helps the American Diabetes Association raise awareness about diabetes and supports critical research and programs that help those living with this disease. Through the giving! program, UnitedHealth Group will match employee personal donations to Tour de Cure dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact! UHG employees can submit a match request and track volunteer hours through the giving! site at giving.uhg.com. To enter in your match or other offline donations in your Tour Center follow these instructions.

Create or join a team now! More than 80 Tour de Cure events are happening across the country, including many locations where we have UnitedHealthcare or Optum offices.

Register your teams now!

If you have participated in the Tour de Cure in previous years, or one of the other American Diabetes Association signature events, log in with your old username and password prior to registering. (If you do not have/remember this information, click " Forgot Your Password?" above to have the information e-mailed to you.)

Team Captains: Click “CREATE A NEW TEAM” above. Find your Tour, go to the event site, and click “ FORM A TEAM.” Be sure to select UnitedHealth Group from the National Team pull-down menu. Team names should follow this naming convention: UHG; (Office Location); UHC (Office Location); Optum ( Office Location) For example, UHG Minneapolis; Optum- San Diego; UHC- Los Angeles.

Riders: Click “JOIN A TEAM” above, search for the team by team name or captain’s name and click JOIN TEAM.
