Thanks to many wonderful people I've had great success fundraising for MS for the past seventeen years. This is my eighth year riding for diabetes. It's a rotten disease and affects lots of folks I care for.
There are no end of very deserving causes that need our hard-earned cash. If you can't give, no worries--we all understand. But if you're looking at this page, I'll bet your here to help, and any small amount you can give would be super awesome!
COOKIES! I fundraise for three very good causes: The American Diabetes Association, The American Cancer Society, and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I bake cookies for the top 20 donors across all three of my fundraising projects. If you donate more than $200 you might qualify, so contact me for a list of recipes so you can select what kind of cookies you would like. If you are really gunning for cookies, then I can give you this information to increase your odds: no one got in the top 20 last year with a donation of less than $250.
But of course, any amount you give is tremendous. I wish I could bake for ALL of my donors!
Last year I raised nearly $15,000 for all three of the charities I work for combined. When I set my total goal last year to $10K I said it would be a one-time high-level effort. But dang, if you folks can hit nearly $15K, then I can just leave my total goal at $10K!
So my goal for diabetes remains the same high number it was last year: $3,000. I know you can get me there; you folks rock!
Truth in advertising: injuries are still restricting my riding. You will not get a triumphant report of 100 miles ridden in one day this year. But the fundraising is what's important, so I'm definitely still doing that, and I hope you'll support it!
