So many lives are touched by diabetes. Chances are your life is too.
Over the past two decades several people close to me have had their lives impacted by diabetes – both Type 1 and Type 2. My Dad was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in his 60’s. My daughter, Claire, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes over 15 years ago. She is my hero regarding her maturity and responsibility in all that she has to do DAILY related to this chronic illness. Claire often wishes she could “take a vacation” from her diabetes, but she knows that she can’t. A few years ago, one of my best friends (my age) was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. He lives with it daily. My guess is that you know someone who has diabetes, too.
Help Make a Difference in the fight against diabetes!
On Sunday, October 22nd, I will be cycling in a local fund raising event celebrating this year's American Diabetes Association (ADA)'s 2022 Tour de Cure. Please support me with a donation by selecting the "Donate to Me" button. Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes. So let's get in gear and ride to Stop Diabetes!
Each mile I ride (all 30-67 miles) and the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of over 30 million Americans who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease.
Together, we can all make a difference!
Thank you in advance for even considering making a small contribution to this worthy cause!
