I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in spring of 1996, 27 years ago. After I started researching diabetes, I realized that I had been diabetic for at least 1 to 2 years prior to my diagnosis. Constant thirst, unexplained weight loss were just two of the symptons I was experiencing.

So I will be riding as a Red Rider. that is some one with diabetes who participates in the Tour de Cure.

Each mile I ride, and the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of more than 23.6 million Americans who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease. Together, we can all make a difference!
