I know my participation in this year's Tour de Cure can and will make a difference.  Over the years I have met researchers who have been directly funded by the ADA funds we raise. A few years back the researcher working on the closed-loop system spoke at the Tour de Cure Champions dinner. That device is now a reality and commercially available and it all started with funding from the ADA.  No matter how small or large, your gift will help improve the lives of people with diabetes and create hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease.
