Hello friends, family, and colleagues!
The Tour de Cure will look different (again) this year, due to COVID-19, of course!
We will be participating virtually and our family has a goal of a 15 mile bicycle ride on September 26, 2021 (coinciding with the Apple Cider Century ride in Three Oaks, MI).
We would love for ANY/ALL of you to JOIN our team and participate virtually with us!!! You can join from near or far, and you can set your own goals of how far you want to bike, run, or walk, in support of the American Diabetes Association and its mission.
We are riding in the Chicago Area American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure (Gone Virtual) on September 26, 2021 as part of the La Rabida Children's Hospital and Ann & Robert H Lurie Children's Hospital team (La Rabida and Lurie Children's).
This event helps raise money and awareness for diabetes research, advocacy, education, and programming.
This year, you can ride, run or walk with our team at Tour de Cure!
By joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.
You should be able to click this link to our team (http://main.diabetes.org/goto/LaRabidaLurie), or if you go to the registration page, search for the team "La Rabida and Lurie Children's" for IL Tour de Cure. Any funds raised are shared locally and nationally.
We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. Let's make a difference together!
Feel free to contact me for more information, and thank you for your support!
We truly appreciate your support. Together we can Stop Diabetes!
