This year is my 13th year participating in the Tour de Cure and I'm again asking for your support. Finding a cure for diabetes is urgent and means a great deal to me personally.

This year, in addition to honoring the Beottcher family with my participation, I have Molly Lynne in my heart. Molly is the 12 year old neice of a close friend who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I know Molly is going to lead an amazing life, but right now this is a scary time for her and her familiy. She is receiving up to 12 injections each day and the price of insulin can be $250 per injection!  I will ride this year with the hope that as we continue to raise awareness and money for the American Diabetes Association, it wil fund research and advocacy to help lower the cost of insulin and provide better treatments (maybe even a cure one day) for this widespread disease.
