Welcome!

Four years ago, when my son James at age 22 was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, I barely knew what it was. I've since learned that over 34 million Americans live with diabetes, either because they can't make their own insulin (like James with "Type 1"), or for a variety of other reasons those with "Type 2" can't effectively regulate glucose levels in their bodies. The effects can be debiliating.

For 30 years the Tour de Cure has been raising money and awareness for the same reason:

            to cure diabetes and to care for those who live with it everyday.

After two years in pandemic-induced virtual reality, the 2022 Tour is back LIVE on September 10th.
I couldn't be more excited for the event or the cause. I hope you can join us.
