Dear Friends and Family,
Johnson & Johnson has been a strong supporter of the American’s Diabetes Association’s (ADA) Tour de Cure event for many years. Since 2016 more than 1,350 of our colleagues and team members have raised more than $875,000, making Johnson & Johnson one of ADA’s strongest national teams. Our contributions have helped move research progress forward and supported education, advocacy, and service initiatives on behalf of the 37 million Americans with diabetes and the 96 million who have prediabetes and are at heightened risk for a diabetes diagnosis in the next decade.
How You Can Support Team J&J and People with Diabetes
In partnership with the ADA, Roy Albiani, Director Global Brand Protection, MedTech, formed Team J&J for this year’s Tour de Cure cycling event on October 2, 2022 taking place in Sonoma County, California. “With over 37 million people with diabetes in the US alone, diabetes is a global epidemic. Most of us know someone with this devastating disease and want to help. For me, it’s personal as members of my family have diabetes or have been adversely impacted from its complications,” shared Roy, who is serving as this year’s Team Captain for Team J&J.
If you can’t join in person, you can still make a difference virtually by riding your own route or choosing your preferred activity before or on the October 2 event date. To participate or to make a donation, please register herehttp://main.diabetes.org/site/TR px=1594357&pg=personal&fr_id=13455
