Welcome to my 5th year participating in the Tour de Cure. While I was unable to ride last year, I know the funds went for a good cause.
This year I am determined to ride! No broken bones or surgeries this year!
You might as why I have participated for 5 years now, it is because I live with and fight against diabetes every day. My choices and actions have moved me from Diabetic, to pre-Diabetic, to non-Diabetic, to pre-Diabetic and now back to Diabetic. Riding this year will help me lose the weight I need in order to move back down to a non-Diabetic status. I was diagnosed with Diabetes in March of 2019. I have committed to ride the Tour de Cure every year! This past year has been tough on my body. Between a broken ankle (slipped on the pool deck at the gym) to Carpal Tunnel surgery in both wrists, it has been tough for me to maintain my fitness/eating routines. That is why the Tour de Cure is such an essential part of my health. Signing up helps me stay motivated! And your support through this page is helping me keep my eyes on the prize.
I am asking you to support me in the Tour de Cure(R) because finding a cure for family and friends that can't control their Diabetes through diet & excercise means so much to me.
Please Help Me Reach My Goal!
When you donate:
* You spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes.
* You advocate for a child discriminated against in school because of diabetes.
* You fund life-saving research.
* You provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes
By participating in the Tour de Cure, I hope to inspire others to join me and raise money.
Thank you for making a generous donation to this cause that is so important to me.
