Welcome to my fundraising page!
I am asking you to support me in the Tour de Cure(R) because finding a cure for diabetes means so much to me.
My neice Casey (Kingery) Prutsman had Diabetes most of her entire short life. She was living a good life until she went into a diabetic coma. After a few weeks, Casey came out of her diabetic coma with lots of complications.
She eventually had to have a kidney transplant which was donated by her mother, Tina.
Complications developed where she had her leg amputated below her knee. She passed away from Diabetes in 2010 at the young age of 35 leaving her twin 13 year old daughters without a mother.
So I am cycling 100 miles in her honor!! So if you could please help with any type of donation that goes towards research to help possibly curing this deadly disease, so that no other family's have to go thru what we did!!!!
Also riding for Cousin's Jan Swanson, Viktor Lööf, Pam (Martin) Matras, Cherie Wilmot, Caryn (Swanson) DeBoer and friend John Daley, who live with diabetes every day!
I also joined the Tour de Cure because today alone over 4,100 people will be diagnosed and because more than 30 million adults and children in the United States are living with this terrible disease.
Help Me Reach My Goal!
When you donate:
* You spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes.
* You advocate for a child discriminated against in school because of diabetes.
* You fund life-saving research.
* You provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes
By participating in the Tour de Cure, I hope to inspire others to join me and raise money.
Thank you for making a generous donation to this cause that is so important to me.
