I love riding my bike. I always have and I love participating in this event. I am happy to be able to do this event because it is so important. It has been a very hard year, and at times very hard to be a diabetic while worrying about sickness spreading and dealing with issues of isolation and mental health. But being on the bike has helped me with both of those things. Riding my bike daily keeps my blood sugar where it needs to be and keeps me sane.
This disease is a 24/7 job. It doesn't go away. But the folks at the American Diabetes Association are working to help the millions of Americans who live with diabetes in many ways. This is an incredibly important organization to me and I am very happy to support this cause.
I hope you can find it in your heart to give what you can to support me in my fundraising efforts for this event. It would mean a lot and every dollar helps to improve the lives of those with diabetes and bring us closer to a cure!
Help Me Reach My Goal! When you donate you make an immediate impact:
* You spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes.
* You advocate for a child with diabetes to have the same learning opportunities at school.
* You fund life-saving research that will bring us closer to a cure.
* You provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes.
By participating in the Tour de Cure, I hope to inspire others to join me in this vital mission.
