Welcome to my Tour de Cure page!
I have once again signed up for the Tour de Cure so I can be a part of a bike event that helps change the course for people living with diabetes. I am going to be training for this ride and fundraising too. I have set a big goal, and I hope I can count on you to support me.
I have participated in this event three times (twice in Ann Arbor, MI and once in Pittsburgh, PA). I have raised over $4,000 total and am hoping to double that this year!
As a pre-diabetic who struggles with weight and blood chemistry controls, the training for this event is the motivation and push I need to get and stay active to prevent DM. Beloved family deal with D1. It is for them that I push myself to the 100-mile limit and fundraising, so that we can eventually cure this disease so no more children have to endure what they have. See my TEAM page for a 1st hand account of this.
Over 37.3 people are living with diabetes, and I want to help the American Diabetes Association continue its cutting-edge research, advocacy and education by raising critical funds.
I humbly ask for your support in this life-changing endeavor I am undertaking. My hope is that you will donate to my cause, and consider registering for your own local cycling or walking event.
