This September, I will join the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for the Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes. For my birthday (which is just a little over a week away!) I'm asking for your support. The person on our team with the MOST number (by people) of online donations, will win a gift card. The minimum donation is $5 and for my birthday this year, I’m asking you to PLEASE HELP ME WIN by donating $5 (or more) to this important cause!
Support for the ADA is important to our family not only for the people we love that are living with diabetes, but also for the loved ones we lost too soon to this disease.
Most people don't know that Sean was only 18 months old when his dad, Bob Davis, died from complications of diabetes. Bob was 15 years old when he was diagnosed with diabetes in 1958. More than 60 years later, medical advancements have contributed to earlier detection, accurate diagnosis, and provided better resources for diabetes management. Supporting the work of the ADA is important to our family because every step forward is a step towards improved quality of life for the people we love that are impacted by diabetes.
We won't stop until there's a cure!
Thank you for your support!
