Welcome to Our Step Out page! We are the Tez'manian Devils walking to Destroy Diabetes!!

Diabetes never stops, and neither do we. We joined the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes to raise critical funds because so many people we know and love have diabetes.

Sadly, in September 2022, our family lost a cherished member while heaven gained an angel.

In honor of the late Tezshera Peyton and her brave battle with Type 1 diabetes, we are participating in the 2023 Step Out Walk to stop Diabetes.

Tezshera was diagnosed with Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus at the tender age of 8 years old. Despite the many complications she faced as a result of the disease, she set the example of what it is to be strong in spirit even when the body fails, to power through hardship and to appreciate the beauty of each day. She was blessed with 2 sons whom she loved with every ounce of her being. They were truly the reason she was able to smile.
