Dear Family and Friends,

On September 24th, our family will be walking in the American Diabetes Association's Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes on the National Mall in DC.

As you may know, our two year old son, Griffin, was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes (T1D) three months ago and Nick has been living with this disease for over 30 years. As you can imagine, this diagnosis of T1D has changed all of our lives forever. We give countless injections, use glucose monitors and insulin pumps, we prick fingers, count carbs and worry about our sweet, strong boy all the time. 

While managing day to day through these life changes, we are committed to ADA. We raise funds to fulfill the important mission to improve the lives of every person with diabetes, while accelerating progress toward curing, better treating, and preventing the disease. 

We greatly appreciate your consideration and support of this worthy cause. We hope to have as many people as possible join us for the walk but, even if you can’t make it, we appreciate any and all donations made as part of our fundraising efforts for the American Diabestes Association.
