I’m approaching a decade of living with Type 1 Diabetes, and though I’ve had struggles dealing with my chronic illness, I’ve experienced a lot of privilege in my diabetes management. There are millions of others suffering (and dying) from a disease that is very manageable & now is the time to make a DIFFERENCE. I’m asking you to donate and join my team to:

• Spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes
• Fund life-saving research that will bring us closer to a cure
• Provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes

I also ask that you take the time to participate in ADVOCACY work with our state & federal government. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m politically engaged and very passionate about making real systemic change in the way people have access to healthcare they NEED. Healthcare is a human right & necessity. No one should ever have to ration insulin, choose between rent & medication, or be forced to use antiquated insulin therapy techniques because they cannot afford modern technology.
