My name is Eleni Martin.
I was diagnosed with type one diabetes on August 27, 2006. I have been apart of the ADA since about 2 years after I was diagnosed. The ADA has always been such a special thing to me and has done and helped me achieve so many wonderful things.
I am going into my Senior year of high school this year. In november, after I turn 18 I am going to apply to get my certified nurses assistant license through my job at windcrest retirement. after high school I hope to attend CU Denver and go to medical school!
I just joined a new archery team called 5280 archers. This year I have changed from a bare bow recurve, to an olympic recurve bow. I have made tons of new progress with my new coaches and am enjoying my new team as well!
I hope that everyone is staying safe during these crazy times! I am always blessed to anyone that has ever donated to me! my small goal of $500 is to hopefully send more kids that are just like me to camp next year!! Thank you all for your love and support through the years!!
Love, Eleni
