Teaming up in the fight against diabetes.

I am now a part of Team Diabetes and am fundraising to support the American Diabetes Association!

I joined Team Diabetes because today alone over 4,100 people will be diagnosed with diabetes and because more than 30 million adults and children in the United States are living with this terrible disease.

Insulin isn’t a luxury; it’s the difference between life and death for those who need it. Yet the cost of insulin is increasing at an alarming rate. It’s time for change. More than 523,276 people have joined the American

Diabetes Association in calling for action.   In addition to raising money, please add your name to the petition below and tell:

• All entities in the insulin supply chain that we need transparency, affordability and access, and that no one who relies on insulin should have to wonder if they’ll be able to afford it, and;
• Congress to hold hearings to identify the reasons for the dramatic increases in insulin prices and to take action to ensure all people who need insulin have affordable access to this lifesaving medication.
