We joined Team Diabetes because today alone over 4,100 people will be diagnosed with diabetes and because more than 37 million adults and children in the United States are living with this terrible disease. Last year during our 2nd annual 20 mile walk myself, (Leslie), my daughter, Ellyss Davis, my friend Monica Moore Humphrey and her daughters, Madisen Humphrey and Makenze Humphrey, walked from Bronzeville (neighborhood in Chicago) to Evanston and this year we are headed to New York City on Saturday, September 10th to take on our 3rd annual 20 mile walk and continue to raise funds for the ADA. We will start at the Statue of Liberty and snake our way through the city up to Harlem. Please consider donating to our annual walk to support the American Diabetes Association and their mission.
