The New England Community Leadership Board's Campaign to Fund -- CAMP CAREFREE
The Community Leadership Board of the ADA is looking to raise $130,000 to fund 100 campers in 2022.

ADA Camp Carefree is a co-ed camp for children with diabetes aged 8-15. We offer a two week residential camp in New Durham, NH on the grounds of Lions Camp Pride. Our mission is to provide a fun-filled, educational camping experience that will help the campers with diabetes to develop and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle while living with diabetes. The main goal of the program at ADA Camp Carefree is to allow the campers to feel at ease and "accepted" in a community where having diabetes is the rule, not the exception. The campers learn to understand diabetes and the process of self-management under continuous skilled medical supervision.
