Make Insulin More Affordable in California: Tell the Senate

The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is pushing to make sure legislation capping insulin co-pays passes the California Senate Health Committee when it’s voted on in the coming days. The legislation will help keep people out of health care settings where they can be exposed to the virus, which puts people with diabetes at increased risk.

Tell the California Senate Health Committee to cap co-pays at $50 per prescription and no more than $100 monthly by passing AB 2203. Personalize your letter for increased IMPACT!

Dear [Decision Maker],

During this unprecedented health crisis, I urge you to help people with diabetes by supporting Assembly Bill 2203 (Nazarian) when the bill is heard in the Senate Health Committee in the coming days.

It's time for California to take action to stop the rising prices of insulin and make this life-saving medication affordable. I urge you to vote aye on AB 2203 and make sure this important legislation passes the Senate Health Committee.

Thank You,
