Make Insulin More Affordable in California

Insulin prices are skyrocketing, with the cost tripling between 2002 and 2013 alone. The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis has underscored the importance of insulin affordability.

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is pushing to make sure legislation capping insulin co-pays passes the California Assembly Appropriations Committee when it’s heard on June 2. The legislation will help keep people out of health care settings where they can be exposed to the virus, which puts people with diabetes at increased risk.

Tell the California Assembly Appropriations Committee to support AB 2203. This life-saving legislation would cap co-pays at $50 per prescription and no more than $100 monthly.
